Baxter's @ The Bitter End agrees to host "The Band Camp Show" Again! Don, our rhythm guitarist, runs a band camp out of Turnpke usic Garage in Fairfield. It's not your typical band camp, though. He brings young guitar, bass, drum, piano, and vocal students into the studio and teaches them how to be in a rock band. They work with real gear and learn a few songs. At the end of camp, the band performs their songs live in a real club. Our friends at Baxter's have agreed, once again, to host The Band Camp Show in September...as of now, the show is scheduled for September 8th, and will kick off at around 7:30 pm. This is always a rockin' good time! When the kids are done, The Rise has you covered for the rest of the night! Don't Miss it!

OMG!! ...The Band Camp Show was TOTALLY AMAZING!! After being displaced from our original venue (for the 2nd time), and a couple of rehearsal sessions where participants were elsewhere, the show completely rocked!

For the first time in Band Camp history, alumni bands opened for the main Band Camp band. It was very, very cool! If you don't know what Band Camp is about you should stay tuned so you can catch the next show, which should happen sometime towards the end of August.

Many, many thanks to Baxter's @ The Bitter End for hosting the show! Robbie and Marianne were absolutely wonderful hosts, and were very generous and gracious! I think Band Camp has decided to ask Baxter's @ The Bitter End to become the Official Band Camp venue!

Check out the Baxter's Photo Gallery for come pictures of the event.

OOPS...we got double-booked at the Bitter End! Nobody's fault here! Robbie-Dog is always trying to get great acts there, and sometimes that's just going to happen! Our thanks to everyone who made the effort to come out and see us, and our apologies for not being there. We will be there, however, on Saturday, March 24th (just 2 more weeks), so we hope to see you then! Look for our e-mail!
